Bring your kids to view Sisi Hood’s Solo Exhibition 七転び八起き (Fall Down Seven Times, Get Up Eight) and craft with Sisi Hood herself! Join Sisi Hood and Hawaii's own, Critikos Minds Children's Museum for a kids craft day at Sisi Hood's solo exhibition, 七転び八起き (Fall Down Seven Times, Get Up Eight). Sisi's show revolves around her Asian culture and childhood nostalgia so it's only right to include the kids in the art and culure festivities that Sisi is providing in honor of her exhibition and AAPI Heritage Month all of May.For Craft Session 1, after viewing Sisi's installation of her koinobori kites the kids will learn about the tradition of Japan's Children's Day and the significance of the koi kites. Each child will be able to decorate and take home their very own kite!This activity is open for kids of all ages. 1 ticket = 1 koi kite. There is sliding scale for tickets to ensure accessibility to all!
