At our summer camp kids ages 10-18 can spend 2 weeks learning stand-up comedy, improv, and sketch comedy from professional comics working in New York City. Are you a funny kid? Do you know a funny kid? Want to use your teenage angst for good! At Kids ‘N Comedy’s classes, kids ages 10-18 will learn to write and perform stand up comedy from professional comics working in New York City. Open to established Kids ‘N Comedy students who have taken part in monthly shows or more than one series of classes. Founded in 1996, Kids ’N Comedy is NYC’s original stand-up comedy school for kids and teens. For 30 years, we’ve been teaching young performers how to write jokes, take the stage, and build confidence in a supportive, age-appropriate environment. we offer advanced writer workshops, summer camp, and monthly live stand-up comedy shows all for kids ages 10-18. Our staff is made of a group of New York writers and comedians that, as teens, had no access to a program such as this, and as a result, are trying to fill their various tragic voids by providing the comic experience to the youth of today.
