Stretching across more than four lush green acres, Newport Green has a little something for everyone. When the weather is warm, children will fall in love with the playground featuring climbable equipment and swings bound to keep the kiddos entertained. During the summer, there’s no better time to visit to take in the sun paired with awe-inspiring views of the Manhattan skyline. Newport Green also hosts community events throughout the year. From outdoor movies, live concerts, and beach parties in the summertime, to Shakespeare in the park and holiday festivities, there’s always something to do at Newport Green. Hours are 8 AM – Sunset. There’s a huge play structure for kids of all ages. It was very packed on a Sunday afternoon so we headed to the open green lawn. It was a great place for my toddler boys to run around. There’s gates all around which makes it safe (as long as they’re closed). There’s a cute “beachfront” with sand and lawn chairs which will be nice on a summer day.
