Family Day at the Frost featuring art-making, music, storytelling, Afro-Brazilian samba, and activations with The Wolfsonian–FIU. Our bi-annual event for the whole family to enjoy inspired by Invitation to Openness and David C. Driskell & Friends: Creativity, Collaboration, and Friendship. Including hands-on art-making activities, story-telling and musical performances for children by Mr. Jams hosted by FIU Center for Children and Families. MiamiBloco invites you to join a community workshop where we’ll explore collective music-making through Afro-Brazilian samba. No experience needed—just come ready to enjoy, learn and play. Instruments will be provided (but feel free to bring your own!). The day will also feature unique activations with our partner museum The Wolfsonian–FIU.
