Delta Sculling is a rowing community in Stockton, California that makes sculling accessible to everyone. At Delta Sculling Center, we help people of all ages build healthy habits, confidence, and friendships through the joy of rowing. It’s how we came into being. We began by serving adult civilians and military veterans with and without disabilities. Our programs have expanded to encourage youth to develop healthy habits and self-esteem by promoting exercise in local schools and in after-school programs at our boathouse. We support comradery and the love of the sport for skilled rowers, and built partnerships in our community. Delta Sculling Center shares the joy of sculling to provide health, fitness and leisure with everyBODY in the greater Stockton community in California’s Central Valley. DSC offers the physical and emotional benefits of sculling (rowing with 2 oars) and a welcoming sense of community to everyBODY and EVERYbody, regardless of age, creed, culture, (dis)ability, economic status, gender, race, or sexual orientation. At DSC we strive to break down barriers and encourage people to see rowing as a sport that is equitably available for ALL. Recreational and competitive rowing programs are designed for 6th to 12th-grade youth. Practices are offered after school, weekends and through summer camp programs.
