Arts Street is a a program of the non-profit, the Youth Employment Academy (YEA). Arts Street’s mission is to guide young adults, ages 14-24, in learning about the creative industries and building their creative skills while assisting them in reaching their education, employment and mental wellness goals. Creative Industry Academies • Internships • Mentorship & Wellbeing Creative industry academies utilize up-to-date technologies to introduce youth to careers in creative industries such as graphic design, illustrations, photography and public art installation. The internship program provides youth real-world “learn & earn” experience working on client-based public art and design projects in a working studio while learning valuable job readiness skills. We utilize up-to-date technologies to introduce youth to careers in creative industries such as graphic design, illustration, photography, and public art. Mentorship provides a safe space where youth can continue to build their creative skills, find their own passions and pursue further education.
