Join us Sunday June 21st for a special FREE Father’s Day’s edition of Books & Bouquets at 12pm Bette’s Rose Garden. Let’s give our fathers and male caregivers the love (and flowers and stories) they so richly deserve. Join us Sunday June 21st for a special FREE Father’s Day’s edition of our Books & Bouquets program at 12pm Bette’s Rose Garden. Bronx author-illustrator CG Esperanza will join us for a storytime of his book “My Daddy is a Cowboy” (a 2025 Caldecott Honor book). We’ll have copies of his picture book on hand for giveaway and flowers for bouquet creation. We can’t wait to celebrate together in our little rose garden in Melrose. All are welcome, including those reading books and making bouquets in honor of the father's no longer with us. Sunday June 21st @ 12pm Bette's Rose Garden 1017 Teller Ave Bronx, NY 10456 Gentle reminder: all books and flowers are on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets are not required, but very helpful as we prepare for the event and order supplies. Private support for this event is provided by City Parks Foundation and Partnerships for Parks through the NYC Green Fund.
