Youth Braiding Camp for Girls Ages 8–13 Where Future Braiders Build Skills, Confidence & Creativity. Fairy Godmothers Presents: Youth Braiding Camp ✨ A fun, hands-on summer braiding experience designed for girls ages 8–13 to learn confidence, creativity, and real braiding techniques in a positive and encouraging environment. This 5-week camp gives girls the opportunity to build valuable hairstyling skills while learning patience, focus, professionalism, and self-confidence. Students will receive guided instruction and hands-on practice using mannequin heads and professional braiding tools. Youth will participate in a Hair show. 📍 Location: Rosener Park 16053 Richmond Ave Markham, IL 60428 📅 Camp Dates: Saturdays: • June 20, 2026 • June 27, 2026 • July 11, 2026 • July 18, 2026 • July 25, 2026 (No class July 4th weekend) ⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM 👧 Ages: Girls 8–13 ✨ Students Will Learn: • Large & Jumbo Bricklayer Parting • Cornrow Parting • French Braiding • Knotless Braids • Stitch Braiding • Feed-In Braiding • Faux Locs • Detangling Techniques • Bead Installation …and more! 🎀 What’s Included: • Chocolate-brown mannequin head • Braiding supplies & combing tools • Practice materials • All classroom equipment • Students keep their mannequin and supplies ⚠️ Prerequisite: Participants must already know basic overhand plait braiding before camp begins. This beginner skill will not be taught during camp. 💰 Tuition: $400 Total Program Cost • $200 non-refundable deposit due at registration • Remaining $200 due at orientation Space is limited to ensure personalized instruction and hands-on learning.
