We offer parent education, parent-child classes for babies and toddlers, cooperative preschool, science and art enrichment for kids age birth - 7. The Bellevue College Parent Education program offers classes in Bellevue, Issaquah, Mercer Island, Renton, Sammamish, Snoqualmie and online. Learn more: Our children’s programs are play-based, which research tells us is the most effective way for young children to learn. Diverse learning experiences build the foundations for literacy, math, science, art and music. They also support the development of physical agility, creativity, emotional intelligence and social skills. What makes us unique is parent involvement. When parents participate in our classes, they see how the teacher guides children’s learning so they can better reinforce skills at home. Parents connect to a community of families and get support for the ups and downs of family life. Parent education sessions offer evidence-based information about child development and parenting.
