A proposition to declare 'Taekwondo Day' on September 4, 2021 was submitted by Sharon Quirk Silva, a California 65th District House of Representative (ACR 1), and this resolution was passed by 38 out of 40 votes by the Senate on the 15th. In order for Taekwondo to be developed further and be loved and celebrated around the world as a Korean culture, we hope that Taekwondo practitioners and their families around the world will sign this day in hopes that September 15th will also be designated as World Taekwondo Day' approved by the UN.
