About

Families will help support animals through a donation drive, tour the Ohio Wildlife Center, and learn about animal compassion. Who this In Person Event is for: Ages 2-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling. What you’ll be doing: We’re partnering with Ohio Wildlife Center to teach kids about animal kindness and compassion! Children will participate in an on-site program that involves a discussion on identifying when animals need help, a half-hour animal encounter, and a half-hour tour. Additionally, families are encouraged to purchase and/or collect donations for the Ohio Wildlife Center. The OWC wishlists and donation flyers will be provided in your confirmation email. Specific Instructions: All supplies will be provided. Please bring any donations to the event. Please note a portion of the Ohio Wildlife Center tour is not stroller-friendly or handicap accessible, so plan accordingly. Please wear appropriate closed-toe shoes. This is a rain-or-shine event, so bring umbrellas, boots, and rain ponchos if appropriate. Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate: On the next page, you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids. Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
