Register now AKU Nonprofit invites you to a bold, creative experience for young artists ages 6–19. This free workshop series is designed to help youth explore their creativity, build confidence, and express themselves through art. Through guided, hands-on sessions led by local teaching artists, participants will learn different art techniques while discovering their unique voice in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment. AKU Nonprofit is led by founder and Executive Director Michael Grant, a self-taught artist with over 15 years of experience. His work blends Japanese and African art styles with a hint of anime, creating a bold and culturally rich approach to creativity that inspires the next generation of artists.
