A storytelling, art, movement, and dramatic play summer camp for children ages 3–6 at Little Nestlings in West Linn. Join us for Once Upon a Studio, a creative summer camp at Little Nestlings Early Learning Center in West Linn. This imaginative camp invites children to explore storytelling through art, movement, dramatic play, and hands-on creative materials. Children’s ideas shape the stories we tell together as they create characters, build story spaces, move through pretend worlds, and collaborate on shared storytelling projects. Families may register for one week or both weeks. Children who attend both weeks will have more time to deepen their stories, continue their projects, and take part in the full creative experience. Throughout camp, children may explore: • Story baskets with objects, fabrics, textures, and found items• Character-making with clay, cardboard, fabric scraps, and natural materials• Story-in-motion games and open-ended costume play• Pop-up storytelling spaces created by the children• Collective story mapping and collaborative class books The camp concludes with a Story Showcase Day, where children choose how they would like to share their stories.
