Free give-it-a-try Open House — come ride before our Indiana BMX League Summer 2026 league (starts 7/18). Ages 4–15 welcome! Come out to our track on Saturday, July 11, 2026 for a FREE "give-it-a-try" open house, especially for new riders, to learn about and get some on-track experience in the sport of BMX Racing. The event runs 1:30PM to 3:00PM. During the event, your rider will get some basic instruction on BMX Racing and ride the track, under the supervision of our League coaches and volunteers. Parents will learn about how the League is structured, and have a no-pressure opportunity to sign up. The Beginners-only Indiana BMX League Summer 2026 League season starts Saturday, July 18 (12:00PM), and runs on the following schedule: July 18 – 12:00PM to 3:00PM July 25 – 12:00PM to 3:00PM August 8 – 12:00PM to 3:00PM August 15 – 12:00PM to 3:00PM August 22 – 12:00PM to 3:00PM This event is the perfect opportunity to learn about the sport, and get in on an activity that is all-about fun, fitness and family. For more info on the League, or to enroll, visit our website. The League is open to boys and girls 4-15 years, and moms, dads and grandparents of riders. A "Beginner" is someone who has never raced BMX outside of the League program. Here's a rundown of how the event will be structured: For Riders Kids will enjoy a "roll-around" on the track, supervised by our league coach and on-track volunteers. This is an "appetizer portion" of the fun to be had in the League. Each League session also includes racing as part of the program. For Parents Watch from the stands, or grab your bike, air up the tires and join the fun with your kids. After a tour of the facility, we will give parents a briefing on how the League format works. For the Whole Family -A welcome message from League staff. -Firsthand stories from BMX families on what the sport of BMX Racing has done for them. -Group and personal Q&A time to answer all your questions. What to Bring/What to Wear for Riders - Long sleeves, jeans, "gym" shoes - A bike without reflectors, chain guard and/or pegs. - A helmet *We have a limited number of loaner bikes and helmets, so if you do not have a bike or helmet of your own, please sign up and come out, and we will work it out. **IMPORTANT** Riders must be able to ride a pedal bike without training wheels to participate.
