The contractor has been asked to minimize activity near the playground during peak hours, though some work in that area will be necessary to complete the project. Signs will be posted on-site during the duration of the work. The playground will remain accessible throughout the project. We thank you for your understanding and patience. The 37-acre facility is being developed in phases as funding becomes available. We are excited to announce plans to enhance our sound garden at the playground – where children of all ages and abilities can explore rhythm, sound, and creativity while enjoying the benefits of play. Interactive instruments like nature-inspired flowers or aerophones are durable, accessible, and designed to spark imagination, creativity and learning. Music engages multiple sensory systems and offers a powerful tool for individuals to find balance, whether through listening, playing instruments, or moving to a rhythm.
