About

Discover how artists have used fabric, quilting, and textile traditions to preserve stories, culture, and identity across generations. Stitched Stories is a summer storytime + art workshop series hosted by Miss Lily, exploring memory keeping, family traditions, and the rich history of Black narrative textiles through storytelling and hands-on crafts labs inspired by the artists: Harriet Powers, The Gee's Bend Quilters, Faith Ringgold, Yinka Shonibare, Tschabalala Self, and Bisa Butler.
