Whether your child wants to work on the fundamentals, is ready to perform, or even wants to create art for the stage, BCT has the right class for you! No matter the time of year, there’s always something to see! Brooklyn Children’s Theatre empowers youth through musical theatre, reimagining arts education by centering the whole child and prioritizing belonging and equity. Our vision is to cultivate a collective of empathetic and creative young people who seek equity in every space they inhabit and are dedicated to building a brighter future for all. This year, BCT produced 14 original musicals starring 544 students, 77% of whom attended on scholarship. We work toward a diversity of identity and experience in our rehearsal rooms. *Percentages of those who chose to share their demographics. 96% of 3rd-5th graders said that BCT staff expect them to try hard and do their best.
