Get ready to dive into science art adventures and fun learning in an outdoor forest environment. 🌿🔬 Science School Sundays 🔬🌿 Science School Sundays are every other Sunday at Science Art Forest — a hands-on, outdoor learning experience where kids (ages 4-14) and their family can explore science through nature, creativity and real-world discovery. These classes are designed for curious kids who love to explore, build, craft, experiment and ask questions. Every other week, we’ll explore different topics like plants, animals, chemistry, ecosystems, outer space and more — all through interactive, engaging experiences. All information is presented in an accessible, age-inclusive way and incorporates multiple interdisciplinary teaching approaches to support a variety of learning styles. All activities and crafts are adapted to meet children where they are developmentally, with age-appropriate projects available for learners as young as four years old. ⏰ Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM 🌿 100% screen-free nature learning 🔬 Curiosity-driven learning: experiments and creative projects 🎨 Art + science integration take-home creations 👕 Please dress for crafts! Our classes are hands-on and can get muddy, painty and nature-filled. We recommend wearing clothes that can get dirty. 🚗Parking is available along Houston Blair Road just past the neighborhood mailboxes. Please park safely along the road and walk down the gravel driveway to the property. Thank you for helping us keep the space safe and accessible. ✨Reserve your spot now! Spots may be limited to keep groups small and meaningful. These classes are offered for free and supported by optional donations. Contributions help cover materials and support the growth of Science Art Forest as we work toward becoming a nonprofit community education space. Please note: If you register and are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you cancel your ticket as soon as possible so another participant can take your spot. Repeated no-shows without notice may result in loss of access to future events.
