It was established by Pacific Northwest artists, then later expanded by art professional Mimi Yan. Mimi Yan has extensive teaching experience with students of all ages and has received training in fine art, graphic design, art history in New York, abroad, and Portland, Oregon. She established the school to create a learning center for students of all ages who are interested in art to learn the skills they have also wanted to, and create the art they have always wanted to.
