MORE TICKETS WILL BE AVAILALABLE ON JULY 1. Free kayaking for City of Water Day 2026 at our boat launch at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus. Now in its 19th year, City of Water Day — taking place this year on Saturday, July 25 — is a region-wide day organized by Waterfront Alliance and New York–New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP), to champion a climate-resilient New York and New Jersey harbor. Dozens of communities across all five boroughs, Westchester and Rockland counties, and New Jersey will host events on and near the water that celebrate the importance of a resilient and equitably shared waterfront. From free kayaking to rowing to hands-on workshops, these events offer community members opportunities for fun, education, and access to their local waterfront. On July 25th 2026, we are hosting free kayaking for City of Water Day at our boat launch at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus from 9am-4pm. Reserve your boat today, as tickets will sell out. Walkup space will be limited. Free kayaking is for 1-hour increments. Kayaking is for ages 12 and up at this location. To reserve a kayak, click the link below. To reserve a kayak, you must be 18 or older. Kids ages 12-15 must share a tandem kayak with an adult . Come explore this beautiful location in the heart of the meadowlands. Note that kayaking at Laurel Hill is not for beginners. First timers may find this location difficult. NOTES:
