Based in Pasadena, we provide high school students with opportunities to experience real-world engineering through FIRST robotics. Team 2404 is proudly sponsored by Neighbors Empowering Youth (NEY), NASA-JPL, Mantech, Caltech, and Little Machine Shop. ​ • About Us • FIRST FIRST Robotics competition team 2404 is a group of high school students who participate in an annual robotics competition organized by the non-profit organization FIRST. The team is tasked with designing, building, and programming a robot to complete a specific set of tasks that vary from year to year. Our team also develops marketing and fundraising strategies, as well as participates in outreach events to promote STEM education in our community. The FIRST Robotics competition program aims to inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing hands-on experience in real-world engineering challenges.
