Join us for our wonderful Buddha Kids program that takes place on the third Saturday of each month! Thanks for your interest in Buddha Kids at the Blue Lotus Temple! Teaching kids mindfulness and meditation can help them improve focus, manage emotions, reduce stress and anxiety, and enhance their overall well-being by promoting self-awareness and emotional regulation. Sessions take place in our Buddha Kids room located downstairs. All Buddha Kids participants must have a registration form completed BEFORE they can attend! Once this form has been completed, there is no need to register you child each week. Click HERE to fill out this one-time necessary google form. When is Buddha Kids? The 3rd Sat of each month from 10-11a September through May What age kids can attend? 4-11 years old. Adults are welcome to join in or they can attend the meditation session upstairs. Who teaches Buddha Kids? Julie Gibson and Katie Meier-Peck. Both are sangha members with extensive experience with the Dharma and education. What is each session like? Each Buddha Kids class incorporates teachings of the Buddha with a brief guided meditation, fun conversation, and a craft project. How much does it cost? Each session is free to attend (suggested donation is $5).
