My children are excited to participate in their after school program. I look forward to the parent meetings because not only do I get to see familiar faces but I get to learn helpful information that pertains to my overall well-being. I am thankful to be connected to a team of people that value education, community and overall service. When I was younger, I was on the wrong path. I was dealing with issues that I didn't know how to handle, and I was making poor choices. That all changed when I found Roberts Family Development Center, a non-profit organization that provides programs and care to people like me who are struggling. RFDC helped me through some of the toughest times in my life. The staff members were caring and empathetic, and they knew how to help me when I didn't even know how to help myself. They gave me access to resources and programs that helped me to stay on track and make progress in my life.
