(Leader in Training Education) program gives middle school and high school students an opportunity to give back to the community and perform community service. L.I.T.E.s are confident, enthusiastic, and responsible teens who are essential role models in our San Carlos Parks and Recreation Summer Camps. Throughout camp weeks, L.I.T.E.s gain one-on-one mentorship by trained summer camp staff, learn the intricacies of leading at a summer camp, and build their overall leadership skills. Ideal L.I.T.E. candidates are teens ages 13-17 who enjoy working with children and want to learn valuable job and leadership skills.
