About

In this youth workshop, students will learn about ancient instruments, explore modern music practices, and make instruments of their own! Music! What did ancient people use it for? What were their musical instruments like? In this workshop, children will explore ancient music-making and the creation of musical instruments in the ancient world. Children will connect their modern music experiences to ancient music, explore the artifacts at the ISAC Museum, experiment with hands-on materials to build instruments, and compose music of their own. Recommended Age: 3rd -6th grade Pricing: $5 for member children/adults $10 for non-member children/adults Adults free (with paying child).
