Luke Jensen Sports Park This 20-acre sports park was developed in 2011-2012 as part of the Greater Clark Parks District program. Clark County Parks and Nature is making improvements to Luke Jensen Sports Park, located at 4000 NE 78th Street. The replacement of the field turf at Field 1 is complete and is currently open for use and reservations. Future improvements may include the conversion of fields 2 and 3 from grass to synthetic turf, the replacement of the play equipment, and the potential addition of a basketball court. The remainder of the improvements are anticipated to begin in 2027. Other youth and adult sports groups also may reserve field time based on a scheduling prioritization established in the Operations and Use Fee Policy for Luke Jensen Sports Park. The 2,200-square-foot Bud Van Cleve Community Room is located in the center of the park and has a fantastic view of all five fields. The meeting room is disabled accessible and has two restrooms, storage cabinets and a sink. It comes equipped with 20 tables and 100 chairs. The Bud Van Cleve Community Room has a maximum capacity of 116 people and may be used during the park’s hours of operation.
