Our Summer at CSS kids' program kicks off its July Series with a hands-on sushi class built for kids and young teens. Young chefs will season sushi rice, roll their own maki, and hand-shape traditional Japanese onigiri — taking home real cooking skills with every bite. We'll make Salmon & Avocado Rolls finished with teriyaki and sesame, Three Fish Rainbow Rolls topped with three colorful fish (with a BBQ tofu option for veggie lovers), and Onigiri rice balls filled with teriyaki chicken or BBQ tofu. Along the way they'll pick up safe knife handling, sushi etiquette, and the basics of Japanese flavors — all under the guidance of our expert chef!
