IN-PERSON SafeSitter Babysitting Training Course 2026 class dates: June 23 June 24, June 30th. Search Eventbrite.com for all three. SafeSitter is a training course that prepares students ages 12 to 15 on how to be safe when home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. SafeSitter training is designed for mature-minded individuals who are serious about developing his/her childcare skills and abilities. This is an interactive in-person course that includes hands-on demonstrations, games and role-playing exercises. Students will learn: Materials Provided: Students MUST be 12-15 years old and will receive a SafeSitter certification card upon completion of the course.Students should bring a sack lunch and water bottle. _____________________________________________________________________ This course is open to individuals who live within the communities served by Santa Clara County Fire Department: Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Monte Sereno, San Martin, Saratoga and the unincorporated surrounding areas. If you do not live in one of these areas we may place your student on a waiting list to allow our residents first right of refusal.
