In 1991, Poe Co became the first parent cooperative in the country to receive accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (N.A.E.Y.C.). We have been reaccredited every year since. This mark of excellence has been achieved by only 5% of early childhood programs nationwide. Poe Cooperative Nursery School is licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, and our Director, teachers, and staff meet all requirements and standards set by their licensing branch of Human Services.
