Get ready to cast your ballot for Pet Mayor of Austin! Come to our all-ages block party featuring games, food, and hands-on voting practice! Get warmed up for the November election -- Paws to the Polls: The Great Austin Pet Election is coming to a neighborhood near you! Featuring a rowdy candidate debate/stump speeches, voting on the Travis County Clerk’s Office actual voting machines, a mock Voters Guide, popcorn, Kona Ice snow cones, kids' activities, face painting, voter registration and information, and an opportunity to take a pic with your candidate’s cut-out. This event is brought to you by the League of Women Voters of the Austin Area and the Travis County Clerk's Office.
