Bring your kids for a fun time learning bike basics and gaining confidence on two wheels! Bike Skills 101: Learn to Ride - Kids is a free group class is for children who are ready to ditch the training wheels and ride a two-wheeler for the first time. With our safe, easy, effective method taught by expert instructors, kids will learn how to balance, pedal, start, stop, and steer a bicycle. No prior experience necessary. Please note: Registration for this class should be under the student's name, not that of parent or guardian. Kids ages 10 and under must bring their own bike and helmet. For kids ages 10 and up loaner bikes and helmets will be available. This class will be at East River Playground, 106th St and FDR Drive. Click here to view the exact meetup location.
