In this class, you’ll learn how to use different types of charcoal—vine, compressed, and charcoal pencils—to create rich textures, deep contrasts, and subtle shading. Students will focus on building strong compositions, mastering light and shadow, and enhancing their ability to capture form and movement. Whether you’re working on portraits, landscapes, or abstract concepts, this class provides a hands-on approach to drawing with charcoal, helping you develop both precision and artistic freedom. All levels are welcome—no prior experience is necessary! Registration and Refund Policy: Please provide an Eventbrite ticket on the first day of class as proof of enrollment. Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. A class may close when enrollment falls below seven (7) students at any time during the term. There are no refunds, credits, or extensions.
