Non-profit organic farm located in downtown San Jose, California. Our mission is to create a sustainable, local food system that builds community, improve access to healthy foods, and teaches residents to cultivate their own fruits, vegetables, and herbs. We teach people how to grow their own food and build strong community bonds. • Volunteering • Youth Experiences We host educational volunteer days every Monday & Wednesday from 4-5:30 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM-12 PM. We welcome all ages to sign up for some fun on the farm (no experience required). We offer a wide range of experiences for toddlers to high school students including: ABC’s of Farming, Teen Ambassador, field trips, and community service hours. Our farm is set up for ample learning & exploring. We provide several opportunities for the community to learn and grow together including: Grow at Home, Harvest Boxes, team service days, and corporate tours. The possibilities are endless. Join us! To provide inclusive educational experiences rooted in connections to nature, community, and regenerative food systems. In October 2013, Garden to Table Silicon Valley installed 2,500 square feet of raised beds to develop Taylor Street Farm. The farm is run by a group a dedicated individuals and volunteers who strive to educate and connect people to nature and each other. Our Vision is a NOURISHED COMMUNITY! We work together to foster resilience, cultivate community and grow nourishing food for each other.
