Get ready to cast your ballot for Pet Mayor of Austin! Come to our all-ages block party featuring games, food, and hands-on voting practice! Get ready -- Paws to the Polls: The Great Austin Pet Election is coming to a neighborhood near you! Research the candidates -- Gus the Cat and Franklin the Dog -- using special editions of our nonpartisan Voters Guide and our online resource VOTE411. Vote for the candidate of your choice using actual voting machines provided by the Travis County Clerk’s office. In addition to voter registration and resources, we'll have popcorn, snow cones from Kona Ice, kids' activities, and an opportunity to take a pic with your candidate’s cut-out. This event is brought to you by the League of Women Voters of the Austin Area and the Travis County Clerk's Office.
