Bring your kids for a fun time learning bike basics and gaining confidence on two wheels! This free group class is for children who are ready to ditch the training wheels and ride a two-wheeler for the first time. With our safe, easy, effective method taught by experienced instructors, kids will learn how to balance, pedal, start, stop, and steer a bicycle.Please note: Registration for this class should be under the student's name, not that of parent or guardian. You must bring your child's bike and helmet to this class. This class will take place at Tecumseh Playground (W. 77th St. & Amsterdam Ave). Click here to view the exact meetup location. This class is part of a family-friendly Bike Bonanza event hosted by NYC DOT in partnership with Council Member Gale A. Brewer.
