Every one of these children has experienced trauma in the form of abuse, neglect and/or abandonment. Every one of these children deserves to have a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer. On Saturday, March 21, Child Advocates of Silicon Valley teamed up with Veggielution to host a vibrant day of outdoor exploration for foster youth and their Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers. San Jose, CA — Child Advocates of Silicon Valley proudly swore in 22 new Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers in San Jose on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and 1 more will be sworn in on March 25, 2026, at Santa Clara Family Justice Center. On Saturday, February 21, Child Advocates of Silicon Valley hosted an exciting outing for foster teens and their CASA Volunteers at K1 Speed, where youth experienced the thrill of indoor go-kart racing alongside arcade games and time to connect. In honor of Black History Month, Child Advocates is spotlighting CASA Stacey Lawyer for her commitment to going above and beyond for our Black foster youth. Through our continued partnership with Happy Hollow Foundation, foster youth and their Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers are able to enjoy special days at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo throughout the year. This month, Child Advocates is spotlighting CASA Vivian Dang for her commitment to going above and beyond for our foster youth.
