Oak Hill Youth Sports Association (OHYSA) is one of the largest youth baseball and softball organization in Austin, and has been serving the youth of southwest Austin and surrounding areas since 1967. About Oak Hill • One-way traffic • Teaching youth values through sports Oak Hill Youth Sports Association (OHYSA) is one of the largest youth baseball and softball organization in Austin, and has been serving the youth of southwest Austin and surrounding areas since 1967. We are a recreational league and all registered players “make” a team. In any given year, this means that 1,300+ boys and girls will be playing on roughly 100 teams! OHYSA is a private facility, with a one-day drive pattern, a single entrance gate, a single exit gate, and a 5mph speed limit throughout the complex. Since 99% of our parking is internal, there are always, ALWAYS kids running around playing, and parents moving from field to field. So keep your speed to the limit – with your foot on the brake if that’s what it takes, DO NOT come in the exit game or exit through the entrance gate, keep to the one-way driving pattern, and do not park with any part of your car blocking a paved or crushed rock roadway. To help curb trash, a new item that you will see at the fields this fall is recycling containers. We have an opportunity to teach our players to respect the park and ultimately leave the park in better condition than it was found.
