Skatechurch, a nonprofit Christian ministry, has been reaching out to skaters in greater Portland since 1987. Our skatepark in SE Portland offers a free, safe space to hone skateboarding skills and explore faith. The response was outstanding, with marked growth in attendance along with an undeniable boost in the energy and enthusiasm of each skate session. Admission to Skatechurch has remained free ever since, and our new goal is to keep Skatechurch permanently FREE! To do this we need your help in covering operating expenses and forgone admission revenue. Please DONATE NOW to help the cause! (Kindergarten through grade 5) Note: Participants must be at least 5 years old. Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:30PM (grades 6-8) Note: Those 15 at registration must go to High School Skate. Mondays 6:30 – 9:00PM *Optional Bible Study 5:00 – 6:00PM (grades 9-12) Note: Those 18 still in high school must attend High School Skate. Early high school graduates age 17 must attend High School Skate. Tuesdays 6:30 – 9:00PM *Optional Bible Study 5:00 – 6:00PM (age 18 and out of high school) Note: Only those 18 and beyond high school may attend. Those 19+ must attend, even those not graduated.
