Turn years of your child's artwork into one meaningful keepsake while deepening connection together. Have you ever found yourself holding onto years of your child's artwork, unsure of what to do with it but not quite ready to let it go? You're not alone. Join us for a unique parent-child collage experience where memories, creativity, and connection come together. During this hands-on workshop, families will transform their child's past artwork into a meaningful keepsake collage while engaging in guided reflection, storytelling, and conversation. This experience is designed to help caregivers and children slow down, reconnect, and celebrate their journey together. As you revisit drawings, paintings, school projects, and other creative pieces, you'll have the opportunity to reflect on milestones, memories, and the stories behind the art. The workshop is co-facilitated by Unique Jordan, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, creative, art dealer, and curator, alongside her 10-year-old daughter, an artist. Together, they model the very experience participants will engage in: using creativity, conversation, and self-expression to connect across generations. Their collaboration offers both children and caregivers an opportunity to see their own voices, perspectives, and memories reflected throughout the experience. What to Expect:• Create a collaborative collage using your child's past artwork• Participate in guided parent-child reflection activities• Explore storytelling, creativity, and self-expression• Strengthen communication and connection through a shared experience• Leave with a meaningful keepsake that honors your child's creative journey Who Is This For?This workshop is designed for children ages 8–12 and one parent or caregiver. What to Bring:Please bring 10–15 pieces of your child's artwork, drawings, paintings, school projects, or other creative pieces you'd like to incorporate into your collage. What's Included:All collage materials will be provided, including a canvas, adhesive materials, and additional supplies needed to complete your project. Please Note:While this workshop is facilitated by a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, it is not a therapy session.
