Teens 13-18 enjoy a week of learning new songs and playing in a band - camp ends with a final performance on Friday afternoon. Kids enjoy a week of learning new songs and playing in a band. The workshop culminates in a performance on Friday afternoon.Intermediate students should know scales, basic chords in major and minor keys, and be able to play or sing a few songs.Advanced students should know all major and minor chords, scales, be able to play or sing several songs and to improvise. Parents need to send a 1- or 2-minute video or audio clip showcasing their kids skills to Dr. Kaylina Crawley for placement. Questions? email to kaylina.crawley@nashville.gov. Kids should wear comfortables clothes, and bring a sack lunch, water and/other drink, and a snack.
