We serve the City of La Cañada Flintridge and surrounding foothill communities. All are welcome! The Community Center of La Canada Flintridge (CCLCF) offers a wide range of programs to meet the needs of every age group and interest. Want to explore your artistic side? Enjoy dancing, music, visual arts and theatre. Kids Camps? Join us during Summer, Spring Break, Thanksgiving holiday week and winter vacation. Also check out our renowned ceramics program which runs six days a week year-round and boasts five kilns. Our Ceramics and Glass Studio was founded in the 1960s by glazing master Helen Jean Taylor. Our mission is to create a creative, fun, and collaborative environment where students can learn and experiment with clay. Students receive comprehensive instruction along with independent work time to build their knowledge of the ceramic process and techniques. Whether you are brand new to ceramics or are an advanced artist, we welcome you to get your hands dirty and have some fun! Looking for sports and fitness? Try basketball, yoga, martial arts, pickleball, and an intramural kickball league. We also offer special interest programs such as chess, book club, social events, cooking, as well as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) classes. Our Community Center Preschool helps develop children with strong social-emotional and cognitive skills under the care of the most devoted staff any parent could ask for.
