Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center invites the Austin community to join us in celebration of our Grand Reopening. This large-scale, family friendly event is open to all. There are no tickets or RSVPs required. There will be a free shuttle bus service from East Holly St. neighborhood to the ESB MACC. New Building Features:This Phase 2 project includes the addition of new music rehearsal spaces, renovations to performance spaces, classrooms, galleries, office/support space, dedicated storage space, teaching kitchen, as well as, landscaping and gathering spaces. Visitors to the newly renovated building can experience enhanced safety features, rooms with natural light, and a closed/controllable perimeter of the Zocalo Plaza with a shaded structure. The ESB MACC is now under the Austin Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment department (ACME) of the City of Austin.
