Join us for a day of music, food, kids' activities, and more! Black In The Gorge presents our 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration! Every June 19th, we commemorate the abolition of slavery and honor Black freedom, resistance, and resilience. This Juneteenth is no different! So come eat, dance, and celebrate Black culture in the gorge with us! Highlights Music from Portland’s Queen of Soul, Larhonda Steele; famous saxophonist Eldon T. Jones; Arturo Leyva; Gorge Freedom Choir; and Red Elk Spirit Drum. Spoken word from B.I.G. members, Marie-Louise and Eva. Featuring B.I.G.'s BIPOC Artisan Marketplace, a traditional cakewalk, raffle prizes, face painting, and plenty of kids' activities! THIS IS A FREE EVENT, EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
