Laughs & Smiles 2 is a standup comedy show honoring Raishawn Wickwire, the beloved Portland comedy producer, who passed away in 2024. Join Keela Johnson for this special Mother's Day post-show activity is to introduce affirmation as a subconscious rebuilding practice that supports the strengthening of neural pathways associated with self-worth, positive valuation, and intrinsic reward. Through intentional acknowledgment and affirmations, participants are encouraged to accept and reaffirm who they are and who they aspire to become. To bring awareness to May’s being Mental Health Month, PATA will be producing a special one night only reading of Marsha Norman’s 'night, Mother featuring Portland favorite Sharonlee Mclean, KOIN Channel [Google Places type: performing arts theater]
