About

About Us • TEAMS • Welcome! We began in 2006 as a small 6- person club in Redmond High School’s chemistry classroom, pioneering VEX in Washington, hosting competitions annually. Throughout our 17 years of experience, Exothermic Robotics has received more than 255 awards at various tournaments all around the world. Up until 2022, we worked out of a small office space in Redmond, but we have since moved to our current location in Bellevue, WA. At Exo, we pride ourselves on the mentorship, guidance, and advisory that we are able to provide one another, ranging from build and programming tips, to engineering notebook help. This season, we have 17 teams competing under the Exothermic Robotics banner. As of right now, our organization encompasses 100+ students, making us Washington’s biggest VEX Robotics Organization. Exothermic Robotics is a branch of Ignite Robotics, the high school counterpart to the Middle School Blaze Robotics. Exothermic Robotics isn’t a school organization, rather it’s composed of high schoolers from many different areas and locations. Exothermic Evolution [Google Places type: educational institution]
