It's ok to not be ok. As moms, we want nothing more than to keep our children safe and raise them to be fulfilled and happy. When unexpected trauma occurs, it upsets the life we had envisioned for them, bringing fear, uncertainty, and other big emotions that no child should have to handle – and no parent could be prepared to handle. We can’t change what happened, but we can walk with you and your child to make sure you aren’t navigating the process alone. We help adults struggling personally or professionally with challenges keeping them from living better. We work with children & youth ages 5 to 17. Therapy may include play, art, mindfulness or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. Group therapy is an excellent way for children and parents to connect and learn from others facing the same issues. We use EMDR therapy to help children of all ages recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences. Specializing in helping children and adults who have experienced trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders feel better. Navigating childhood trauma, family trauma, medical trauma or sexual trauma can be incredibly overwhelming. We can help.
