We also provide studio services open to the public and members, including open studio rates, kiln firings, and materials access. We’re thrilled to announce an opportunity to learn directly from our studio owner, Dorandy — a sculptor whose mastery of form and anatomy sets her work apart. In this six-week figure-sculpting series, students will meet once a week to handbuild a 25" tall figurine, constructing each body part from the feet up to the head. Under Dorandy’s expert guidance, you’ll refine proportion, balance, and gesture, culminating in sculpting facial features with depth and expression. This class offers a unique chance to study the human form through the eyes of a professional sculptor — a learning experience that will challenge, inspire, and elevate your craft. Limited spaces available. Try our Intro to Pottery class to begin your journey with clay and learn about the techniques of throwing on the wheel. Our small group classes led by knowledgeable instructors are great for beginners. In our 4-week or 8-week class series, we spend more time throwing on the wheel, and learning to trim and glaze pieces. You will also have open studio time to practice on your own.
