August 2026 through May 2027, Community Arts Program (CAP) Performing Ensembles typically meet after school within the Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ Arts & Education wing. CAP Performing Ensembles include CAP Creative Strings and—as part of the CAP Miami Jazz Institute—Jazz Ensemble PLUS. Each group is designed to take children and youth through the highest-level experience while developing exceptional musical and performance skills. Over the year, groups perform a minimum of five, engaging concerts throughout Miami. If you, or someone you know, is interested in joining, we’d love to hear from you. It’s easy! New applicants will be contacted for an audition upon receipt of the online application. Returning applicants need only complete the online application. September 2026 through April 2027, the Community Arts Program (CAP) Conservatory for the Arts offers its exciting Saturday Music Classes for all Miami-Dade County children and youth, no matter what one’s circumstance or ability. The CAP Conservatory for the Arts Saturday Music Classes meets within the Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ Arts & Education Wing and its adjacent Early Childhood Center, across from the Biltmore Hotel. Each Saturday, a culturally diverse and diversely-abled group of Miami-Dade children and youth attends CAP Saturday Music Classes.
