About
Environmentalist and blooming Naturalists! Join us for an afternoon of conversation and art activities, followed by a book signing. Have you ever wondered how Naturalists decoded gorillas' social lives? Pondered who championed the establishment of wildlife national park sanctuaries throughout the world? Longed to explore new lands to discover and protect our world's biodiversity? If you have, then you may also be Homesick for a World Unknown. Join us for afternoon with Miriam Horn, environmental advocate and author of Homesick for a World Unknown. Learn the seldom-told story of George B. Schaller, field biologist, naturalist, and conservationist who changed scientific practice and established international conservation-focused national parks through his many expeditions worldwide. Children (ages 6-9) can follow in George B. Schallers footsteps at our Field Journal Workshop. They'll make a personalized Field Journal, then put their naturalist skills to the test by documenting the Randall Museum's Animal Ambassadors.
