Pop. BOOM!” show. In order to make new discoveries and learn how the world around us works, scientists conduct experiments looking for either a physical or chemical change. But how can you tell the difference? We’ll reveal the signs of a chemical reaction including a few that fizz, pop, and sometimes, when they’re done right, they go BOOM! 45 minutes + Q&A. Covers the scientific method and lab safety. We believe that fostering a love for science, technology, engineering and math at a young age will give children the confidence they need to excel in these fields. For more than 30 years, Mad Science has focused on designing experiments and activities that resonate with kids, allowing us to provide innovative, hands-on children's science programs to our communities.
